Red crystal fragment
Materials · eventGuide updated May 29, 2026 · Data May 29, 2026Overview
Red crystal fragments are event currency for Sableye’s Gem Hunt—not the same item as Rocky Ridges crystal fragments. Nintendo’s event runs in repaired towns: talk to Sableye, travel to Dream Islands, and break red crystal clusters with Rock Smash inside caves.
Uses in Pokopia
Trade at the Pokémon Center during the event for exclusive furniture, building kits, and gem-hunt themed rewards. Sableye remains in town after the event if befriended.
Farming & tips
Use Clefairy or Arcanine dolls for cave-heavy Dream Islands (Rock Peak and Volcanic routes). Full cave clears yield far more fragments than skimming the entrance—aim for roughly twenty fragments for habitat essentials or sixty-plus for shop completion.
How to Get
・During Sableye's Gem Hunt, break Red Crystal Clusters in Dream Island caves with Rock Smash (Clefairy or Arcanine doll routes recommended)
・Trade fragments at the Pokémon Center for event rewards
