The service

Pokopia.Town provides informational content about Pokémon Pokopia, including browsable and searchable data for Pokémon, items, moves, habitats, food, specialties, and related guides. Features may change at any time. The Site does not provide the game itself, accounts, or customer support for Nintendo or The Pokémon Company.

Main areas include: Pokémon, items, moves, habitats, food, and specialties, plus the home hub for discovery.

Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in violation of applicable law, or to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent security; probe for vulnerabilities; or access non-public areas without permission.
• Use automated tools to copy or download the site in bulk in a way that harms performance for others or breaks rules we publish for crawlers, except for normal public search engine indexing where allowed.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Pokopia.Town, Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company.
• Upload or transmit malware, or use the Site to distribute spam or unsolicited commercial messages.

Intellectual property

The Site's layout, original text, scripts, and data compilation (where original) are protected by intellectual property laws as applicable. Pokémon and related marks remain the property of their owners. Our Disclaimer describes how we refer to game-related names and assets.

You may quote short excerpts with attribution for non-commercial commentary. You may not copy large portions of our database or mirror the Site without prior written permission, except where allowed by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pokopia.Town and its operators, contributors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use the Site in the six months before the claim (typically zero for a free fan site) or (b) fifty US dollars, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Pokopia.Town and its operators against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or discontinue the Site, or block abusive access, at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive termination.

Governing law and disputes

Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Site, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction may have exclusive venue; if you are a consumer, you may also have rights in your country of residence that cannot be waived.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may be highlighted on the home page when practical.
